...I just moved with the questions one by one and somehow "saw" the light. Maybe it was just the Lord reminding me that "Hey, I got you!".
Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology was done after taking it for 3 mind bending hours. I got drained already that time. It was lunch break, I went outside the examination room to see and know if I was the only one who had a hard time facing the first storm. When I got out, I saw my batch mates eating their lunch already. They were happy. So, I just took a bite of my one day old cheeseburger, chewed it and then... suddenly my pharyngo-esophageal connection just did not jive at all.
After an hour, the mightier storm came: Medical Surgical Conditions dawned.
Surprisingly, it was, for me, 0.5% easier than APK (though it's difficult pa din). Smoother compared to the earlier exam.
Again, after 3 hours of neuron burning, the first day of the board examination was done. My mom called and my reply was just, "hirap ma." But life needs to move on. Our professors told us not to review anymore for the last exam the next day but since I am Aljin, I'll do it the Aljin way! I took out my book review on Rembe and studied that the whole night. I also read my past mock board exams after. My sleep was nicer that night.
2nd day. Last Day. Same exam room, same seat with same competitive-looking, chin-upped seatmates. (Of course, I also looked intimidating that time- the quiet, nerdy, naka-de kwatro pa look) Di naman nila malalaman na winasak ako ng APK at MES kahapon eh <wink>
So there it goes, as expected, I was banged again by PT Application exams. To tell you, I have read the book reviews averagely 4-5 times already but most of the questions I saw was all about engineering (no pun intended) to a world of music. Malayo sa putukan as what we usually say. So it passed and it was done.
The waiting game officially started.
After 2 days, I have gained a 4-letter suffix to my name. I am then legal to ink my name like this:
Aljin E. Nepomuceno, PTRP
Lic No: 00291**
It was all joys that day. Then a huge wave of thought struck me shouting: "Welcome to the Adulting World, Mthrfckr!"
